required Volunteer paperwork
In order to volunteer on projects with The Friends of Mount Evans & Lost Creek Wildernesses (FOMELC) there are requirements by the Forest Service, COVID-19 Safety Guidelines and Volunteer Forms for you to read.
You only need to sign the FOMELC Master Volunteer Agreement (MVA)
You must submit the MVA before your first outing.
You may submit the MVA to FOMELC electronically or by printing. Instructions for both options located at the bottom of this page.
By signing the MVA, you are agreeing to the following 6 documents for your information (you do not need to sign any of the below documents).
1. Volunteer Release of Liability (FOMELC)
2. Volunteer Agreement (FOMELC)
3. Wilderness/Backcountry Activities (Clear Creek Ranger District)
4. Crosscut Saw Operations (Clear Creek Ranger District)
5. Fieldwork Activities (South Platte Ranger District)
6. Cross-cut Saw (South Platte & South Park Ranger Districts)
Electronic Signature Instructions (preferred method):
Volunteer must at least age 18 years of age to use this method.

2) That’s it!
Print, Sign and Return Instructions:
1) Print the MVA, fill out both pages and sign the form.
2) Scan and email it to joe@fomelc.org (before your first outing!), or bring it with you on your first outing and give it to your team leader/mentor.
